This December 25, a lifeless dog was found wounded with a knife in the streets of the Residencial Pensiones neighborhood in Mérida.
The incident was discovered by a person who left his house on 11th Street between 66 and 68 of the aforementioned area and came across a mixed-breed dog, who was wearing a blue shirt with blood stains.
As he approached, he noticed that the pet had a wound at the level of the right rib, presumably made with a knife. Agents from the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) arrived at the site, and cordoned off the area, while the staff of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) took charge of the corresponding procedures.
