Neighbors of the San Carlos neighborhood discovered a dead foreigner in an advanced state of decomposition inside the house he rented.
On the afternoon of this Monday, December 25, residents of 15th Street between 12th and 14th, smelled a rotten smell and looked out and saw the dead body.
The now deceased was an American elderly man who lived alone and had been renting the home for more than six months. The man had been dead for several days and it was not until this afternoon that the neighbors realized. After the discovery, they notified the authorities and upon arrival, the agents proceeded to cordon off the area. The staff of the State Attorney General’s Office arrived at the site and was in charge of lifting the body for legal proceedings.
