Julian Zacarías delivers his second annual report

In an event marked by the presentation of the Second Results Report of the Municipal Government, Mayor Julián Zacarías Curi highlighted the significant changes that have taken place in Progreso over the last 5 years of his administration.

Accompanied by Rafael Combaluzier Medina, Secretary of Aquaculture and Fisheries, representing Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal, Mayor of Mérida Renán Barrera, his Honorable City Council, state and federal authorities, and local and federal deputies, Zacarías Curi led the presentation of his Second Results Report held at the Progreso Sports Unit.

During this event, Zacarías Curi invited residents to reflect on the transformation that Progreso has undergone, comparing the past with the present. The mayor mentioned the economic growth that has resulted from his management, asserting that the municipality has attracted investments, tourism, and employment, directly benefiting citizens throughout the municipality.

Tonight, Julián Zacarías was welcomed by more than 3,000 people who not only listened to his message but also celebrated with him the legacy of Progreso that has been shaped during this administration through changes and development.

Likewise, attendees noted their support and commitment to the mayor’s way of working, as words of encouragement were present through shouts of support, banners, and signs.

Finally, the Progreso town leader affirmed that Progreso’s legacy will continue to be forged, and he will continue to work for the well-being of Progreso families. He also expressed gratitude to the attendees, stating, “It has been an honor to serve you.” Additionally, he directed a moment towards his wife Alma and his sons Julián and Alex, thanking them for their support during his tenure in the city and port of Progreso.
