International Mezcal Fair, July 14-25 in Oaxaca

The 2023 International Mezcal Fair will take place from July 14 to 25 at the Oaxaca Cultural and Convention Center (CCCO). This edition stands out for the presence of business tables aimed at directly connecting mezcal masters and producers with national and international buyers, eliminating intermediaries.

In this regard, Iñigo Arturo Aragón, the Undersecretary of Trade and Investment Attraction, explained that this event “will create a suitable environment for conducting and closing business deals. We will learn about the culture of mezcal, with the Oaxacan mezcal producers being the center of attention, along with every link that is part of this industry.”

What is mezcal?

Mezcal is a traditional Mexican spirit with a rich history and cultural significance. Distilled from the heart of the agave plant, mezcal offers a unique and complex flavor profile that captures the essence of its terroir.
