The city of Mérida is the setting for Netflix’s new series, Bandidos, which has been in production in the Yucatán region since last April.

Several locations in the capital will be part of Bandidos, which is expected to hit the big screen by the end of 2023 or early 2024.

Bandidos features various settings throughout the state, with filming taking place in Seyé, Acanceh, Progreso, as well as in Mérida locations such as Olimpo and Siglo XXI, among others.

It is worth mentioning that the Netflix series Bandidos includes actors such as Ester Expósito, Mabel Cadena, Andrea Chaparro, Andrés Baida, Juan Pablo Medina, Nicolás Furtado, and Juan Pablo Fuentes.

After the filming in Mérida a few days ago, the production moved to Quintana Roo, where they continued with this new project set to be released by Netflix soon.

Bandidos will be filmed on more streets in Mérida during Thursday, May 25th, although the duration of the road closures is currently unknown.
