On Friday, December 1, tickets for the first trip aboard the Mayan Train went on sale, which has already sold out on the website.
Ticket sales began without prior notice through eTicket, which offers trips from the city of Campeche to Cancún, Quintana Roo. It will be the first section that will be operating from December 15, since it will be on the 31st of the same month when it operates from Palenque, Chiapas, to Cancun, and on February 29, 2024, when the entire Maya Train begins operations.
However, just a few minutes after ticket sales for the first trip started at 7:00 in the morning on Saturday, December 16, tickets were sold out on the website.

Prior to purchasing tickets for the Mayan Train, the eTicket page sends you to a virtual queue to purchase tickets, where upon access, it is indicated that the sale is already sold out.

Ticket prices for the Mayan Train

- Premier Class – 1,862 pesos
