However, the maximum penalty in the state of Yucatan, according to Article 29 of the Penal Code, establishes that the maximum prison sentence is 65 years. For reparation of the damage, the sentenced person was sentenced to pay the amount of one million 737 thousand 600 pesos and for funeral expenses the amount of 5 thousand 212 pesos, the same amount that must be paid to the second victim.
