Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, national coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Fourth Transformation, met with more than five thousand militants in Playa del Carmen, where she affirmed that “it is time for women”.
In the event that gathered militants of the parties of the Fourth Transformation alliance, in the sports center of the popular neighborhood Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta, the former head of the Mexico City Government, spoke about her intentions for the future and the continuity of the project of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
“It is time for women (…) to the women of Mexico, to our country that for so many years was said to be a macho country that did not want women, we are making history because it was far away those that “quiet you look prettier” (…) now we can say that we women can be everything we want,” Sheinbaum told her followers.
The national representative gathered more than five thousand people in the sports field, who came not only from neighborhoods and subdivisions of Playa del Carmen, but from various parts of the state.
There she spoke about the federal projects that are being carried out in the state and other parts of the Republic.
“Works all over the country (…) because corruption is over because imagine, there are more than two trillion pesos that he took away from corruption”.
Prior to the massive event, Claudia Sheinbaum met only with media representatives at the College of Civil Engineers of Solidaridad.
There she touched on two of the most important issues on the national agenda: Calica and the Mayan Train.
Regarding Calica, he commented that Mexico is expected to win the international lawsuit against the transnational and the land located south of Playa del Carmen will be used for recreational purposes and as a protected natural area.
Regarding the Mayan Train, he mentioned that they will continue to strengthen the federal project. Likewise, he discarded that this project will bring about social effects, as certain activists have mentioned.
