Mérida woman found dead in her house in “Probable Suicide” case

On Sunday January 13th, a woman was found dead inside her home in Ciudad Caucel, at 117-B Diagonal Street between 104 and 106. The finding was made by a relative, who immediately called to the police.

The place was cordoned off by the local authorities, at first impression, everything suggests that it could have been a suicide, however, state authorities declared that they’re waiting for the results of the necropsy performed by SEMEFO, to determine the cause of death.

Personnel of the Prosecutor’s Office placed stamps on the door of the woman’s house, indicating that the property is subject to investigation for an allegedly criminal act.
