Three Dead in Traffic Accident on the Chemax-Cobá Road

Three people died, and one more was injured last night in a road accident on the Chemax-Cobá road at kilometer 13.

So far, both the deceased individuals and the injured one remain unidentified.

According to obtained information, a Tsuru vehicle with license plates YZS 582 – E from the State of Yucatán and an Avanza van collided head-on.

The Tsuru was traveling from Cobá towards the municipality of Chemax, in the east of Yucatán, while the Avanza van was heading from Chemax towards Cobá, Quintana Roo.

Red Cross paramedics transported the injured person to the general hospital in Valladolid.

Elements of the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) and the municipal police of Chemax carried out operations at the accident site.
