MÉRIDA, Yucatan, March 23, 2023.- Residents and merchants on the streets through which the Sitilpech mega-march passed, expressed no problem with the demonstration which they described as calm and those who were affected by a graffiti will not press any charges.

The owner of the property where Café Volta is located, on Calle 62, said that they were not going to clean the graffiti on her wall.

“It is going to stay that way because the wall is the memory of time,” she responded.
Another store owner on the same street, who preferred not to give his name, commented that he had no problems with the march, as it had been very calm and relatively small, and pointed out that the demonstrations were not bad for him.

During Quadratín’s tour of 62nd, 64th, and 60th streets, only four graffiti on walls could be observed, in addition to those painted on the wood that covers the columns of the Government Palace, which by today were already covered with white paint.
