The exhibition consists of 2.7 million photographs of the art in the Vatican City building….
MERIDA — The City of Merida is finalizing details to begin the assembly of the exhibition of the Sistine Chapel’s replica from November 6 to 19, said Mayor Mauricio Vila Dosal.
The replica is a three-dimensional structure that occupies 510 square meters and which houses two million 700 thousand photographs. To give it the space required, the municipality has considered that the ideal place for this is where the automobile tianguis is currently done, alongside the Supply Center of Mérida.
“This is an exact photographic replica of the original that has received more than two million visitors. It is something unique that we have never seen in the State. There will be free access for everybody, and according to the high demand that is expected, there will be a system of reservations by internet,” he said.
