IRVINE, CA. “Live Wire”, a prototype all electric motorcycle by Harley Davidson is unveiled to the media on the tarmac at the former Marine Corps Air Station El Toro in Irvine, CA, on June 17, 2014. The battery gives it a range of about 60 miles with a full recharge of 3 hours. The stripped down, full size, high-performance road bike can accelerate from 0-60 in 4 just seconds, but without the thunderous exhaust roar of a “Hog”.
