The number of cruise ships arriving at the island of Cozumel will increase from May 22 to 28, with 20 transatlantic ships expected to dock at the island’s three international piers, four more than the previous week.

On Monday, two cruise ships are expected to arrive on the island early in the morning. The MS Disney Fantasy will dock at the Punta Langosta maritime terminal, and the Adventure of the Seas will be at the SSA Mexico dock. The following day, the number of arrivals increases to five. Two floating hotels are expected at the Puerta Maya maritime terminal, namely the Carnival Paradise and the Carnival Valor. The Scarlet Lady will dock at Punta Langosta, and the Harmony of the Seas and the Voyager of the Seas will be at the tourist pier or SSA Mexico dock.

On Wednesday, only two ships will arrive on the island, one of them at the SSA Mexico terminal, also known as the tourist dock, with the Celebrity Equinox, and the Carnival Conquest at Puerta Maya. It will be on the following Thursday when the Puerta Maya port terminal receives three of the four floating hotels visiting the island. The Carnival Vista, the Carnival Breeze, and the Caribbean Horizon will be there, while the Punta Langosta dock will receive the Disney Magic.

On Friday, three floating vessels are expected on the island, with docking scheduled at the tourist pier for the Allure of the Seas, while the Carnival Glory will be at the international Puerta Maya dock, and the Norwegian Seascape will be at the Punta Langosta dock.

On Saturday, four international cruises will arrive on the island. Two will dock at the Puerta Maya maritime terminal, namely the Carnival Paradise and the Carnival Valor, and the other two will be at the SSA Mexico dock, with the Serenade of the Seas and the Voyager of the Seas. There are no cruise ship arrivals expected on Sunday, May 28. This fourth and final week sees an increase of four cruise ships arriving on the island, reflecting moderate activity for workers involved in activities related to this tourism sector segment.
