An abandoned puppy was rescued by agents of the Yucatan Public Security Secretariat (SSP).

The puppy was found inside a box in Mérida’s Periférico by state police officers Juan Mex and Fernando Mukul, who when they saw the little dog abandoned inside a cardbaord box, did not hesitate to rescue him.

The puppy was rescued on time, before he could get out of the box and walk towards the passing cars. It was immediately transferred to a veterinary clinic for a checkup, and photographs were taken there, in order to post them on social networks, and find a kind soul willing to provide him with a new home.

The images were quickly shared on facebook and other social networks, and the puppy got a new family in a matter of minutes.

It is unknown who was the author of this inhuman act, but the story has a happy ending, as the puppy already has a new family, with whom he will start a new life.
