The sale of drugs in small quantities seems to be increasing in the city, which has led to multiple searches organized by the State Investigation Police (PEI).

Last Thursday, November 21, as a result of an operation, Giovanny G.M., known as “El Huiro,” was arrested inside his mother’s house, located on 60th Street between 37th and 39th in Valladolid´s Bacalar neighborhood.

Residents of the area reported that the operation began at dawn and lasted until six in the morning, with the participation of the Special Investigation Police (PEI), the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), and the Army.

However, on that occasion, the operation in the Bacalar neighborhood did not manage to capture the main target, who managed to escape. Instead, only one vehicle was seized.
