Suspension of service was announced at several stations due to Hurricane Milton

The Tren Maya announced the temporary suspension of service at several of its stations due to the arrival of Hurricane ‘Milton’, as a preventive measure to guarantee the safety of its users and collaborators.

Among the measures implemented are the following:

The activation of the Monitoring and Emergency Operations Center at the headquarters of the General Directorate of the Tren Maya, located in Mérida, Yucatán, to monitor the evolution of the meteorological phenomenon.

The temporary suspension of service on the Cancún Airport – San Francisco de Campeche route, and the corresponding closure of the Playa del Carmen – Mérida-Teya station at the end of its journey at Cancún Airport.

Through a statement, affected users are invited to request adjustments to their itineraries or changes to the date of their tickets through the email: [email protected], attaching their tickets and reservation details.

The Maya Train appreciates the understanding of users in this situation and asks that they follow the instructions of Civil Protection and the National Meteorological Service.
