‘Gas explosion’ destroys a home in Celestún

A gas leak that allegedly emanated from the hose of an LP gas tank caused a strong ‘flame’ in a central property of this coastal town.

The property belongs to Mr. “Tilo” Mex, a well-known citizen of Celestun, who fortunately was away at the time of the fleeting fire that devastated the humble kitchen of his house at noon.

Authorities also arrived, whose uniformed officers would be in charge of verifying the damage, as well as taking note of the incident that resulted in material losses in household goods, food, and walls of this room.
