A call to the 9-1-1 emergency number alerted that a man had fallen from the seventh floor of the Residence Inn Merida hotel; he was staying there with his family.
Agents of the sector the State Investigation Police of the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) have cordoned off the area and are working to clarify the facts.

The citizen, 57 years old and of Dutch origin, was under psychological and psychiatric treatment, his relatives said.
