Man bitten by a snake in Merida’s Las Américas subdivision

A 25-year-old young man was bitten by a snake on his left ankle in the Las Américas neighborhood, on the north side of Merida.

According to the report, the affected person, who was identified as Kevin P., was painting a facade in a house in the aforementioned subdivision, when at one point he approached the water intake to wash his tools.

It was there that the young man was bitten by the brown reptile about 50 centimeters long.

His colleagues immediately notified the authorities and minutes later paramedics from the SSP arrived and assessed the victim who did not warrant being transferred by ambulance to a hospital.
