An operation against drug trafficking in Progreso resulted in the arrest of Juan Carlos N Alias El Chirris and his son Carlos Leonel N, known as El Mojarras.
In the operation, the agents discovered drugs and telephone records of alleged clients.
Agents from the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) captured both people in a property located on 23rd Street, between 16 and 18 in the Héctor Victoria neighborhood.
Agents from the National Guard, the Mexican Army, the Ministry of the Navy, agents from the Ministry of Public Security, and K9 canine teams participated in the operation.
During the inspection, they seized multiple plastic bags containing cocaine, crystal, and marijuana.
The detainees and the confiscated drugs were placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Ministry to proceed with the pertinent investigations and determine the corresponding responsibilities.
