Early on Sunday, July 21, an armed individual traveling on a white motorcycle attacked a Seven-Eleven store located at kilometer 27 of the Mérida-Cancun highway.

According to the facts, around 4:30 in the morning, a subject with a thin complexion, approximately 1.65 m tall, wearing a gray sweatshirt, a green cap, black pants, and a black face mask arrived at the store aboard a white motorcycle. with a black and white backpack and then entered and unholstered a firearm, although other versions indicate that it was a knife.

With the gun in his hand, the guy approached one of the cashiers who was serving the business at that moment and, threatening to kill her, asked her to hand him over all the money she had. Scared, the young woman gave him the money she had in the box, a total of approximately 1,800 pesos, and once he received the money the guy fled the place without insisting on asking for more money or trying to assault the dispatchers or customers at the gas station.

According to witnesses, the motorcycle did not have license plates and the assailant fled towards the intersection of the municipality of Seyé.

Municipal police from that town were the first to receive the call for help from the Seven Eleven employees who called 911. Minutes later, at the request of the municipal police, agents from SSP, PEI, and GOERA arrived at the scene to try to locate the assailant, but until 8 am, they were unsuccessful.
