Forbes Mexico magazine announced that the international tourism consortium, Wyndham, will carry out the construction of an ‘All Inclusive’ Hotel under the name Sisal Xibalbá.
Sisal is one of the Yucatecan municipalities that in recent times have been added to the Pueblos Mágicos federal tourism program, and since then it has had an increase in investments, as well as visitor arrivals, however, opinions about the growth are mixed.
Regarding the construction of this new hotel, the note assures that the theme will revolve around the Day of the Dead, which seeks to develop an experience different from what is offered in the area.
Wyndham Hotels and Resorts Chief Development Officer Gustavo de la Serna said he was excited and stated:
“This is the first internationally renowned hotel to be positioned on the quiet beaches of Yucatán,” he concluded.
