A 43-year-old man fell to the bottom of a well on the premises of the Texán de Palomeque community in the municipality of Huncmá.
Around 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 9th, a man identified as José C. Ch. arrived home in a drunken state after going to a party, however, he was so drunk that he did not manage to go to sleep and sat at the edge of the well.
Probably due to his drunken state, he fell asleep and plunged down to the bottom of the well.
Municipal police, paramedics, and firefighters arrived at the scene, who after a while, finally rescued José, who suffered a strong blow to the head, in addition to several wounds.
After giving him first aid, the man was taken to the Military Hospital in Mérida, as he was severely bruised.
