After almost ten years of absence, and a couple of cancellations of his shows due to health issues, Ringo Starr finally reunited with Mexico City, with a show at the Auditorio Nacional, which was a total sold out.

Running and making his now characteristic sign of love and peace, a smiling Ringo arrived on stage, to reunite with his All Star Band, currently made up of Warren Ham, Edgar Winter, Steve Lukather, Hamish Stuart, Collin Hay and Gregg Bissonette.

“Matchbox” and “It Don’t Come Easy” were the songs that started this show, which took those present on a journey through different stages of rock from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

“Good evening Mexico City. Are you ready to have fun and listen to good music? Because that’s what we do. Each one of you tonight will know at least one song,” said Ringo.

The former Beatles drummer was always in a good mood and smiling, and responded to the affection of the people, making the peace and love sign and telling his fans that he loved them very much.

“Are you feeling good? This is what it’s all about. Feeling good… You are a great audience. I love playing here,” said the artist.

The final stretch of the show was made up of songs such as “I Wanna Be Your Man” by The Beatles, “Who Can It Be Now” by Men At Work and “Hold The Line” by Toto.

With a little help from his friends, Ringo Starr comes to the end of his show with “With a Little Help from My Friends,” part of The Beatles’ repertoire, and written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. “You are the best audience in history. I wish you love and peace forever. I love you,” said Ringo.
