Final details of the Tourist and Gastronomic Corridor in Mérida are ready

The final details of the construction of the Tourist and Gastronomic Corridor on Calle 60 are being prepared, a work that Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal confirmed and that is close to being delivered as part of the efforts to transform the Historic Center of Mérida and continue to detonate tourism and the economy of the area.

As part of a tour that began on the corner of 60th and 53rd Streets, the Governor also supervised the remodeling of the Plaza Grande, a project that is progressing according to schedule and is being carried out to renew this attraction and strengthen the tourist vocation in the heart of the city.

Accompanied by the Mayor of Merida, Alejandro Ruz Castro, and the head of the Ministry of Public Works, Aref Karam Espósitos, Vila Dosal walked on 60th Street, where he was able to verify the remodeling of streets and sidewalks, as well as improving the urban image, a work carried out by groups of workers.

Upon arriving at the Plaza Grande, the Governor, together with the general director of the Institute for the Construction and Conservation of Public Works in Yucatán (Inccopy), Virgilio Crespo Méndez, the Governor corroborated the intervention work that is being carried out at that point of the city.

It must be remembered that this work also seeks to unify the work of the Tourist and Gastronomic Corridor that is carried out on 47th and 60th streets in the same area, as well as provide more adequate, comfortable, safe spaces for pedestrians and accessible to all users.
