The Quintana Roo Prosecutor’s Office investigates the gunshots in Puerto Morelos, followed by the abandonment of a human head in the middle of the street.
The acts of violence continue in Puerto Morelos, since in the last 24 hours there have been armed attacks, and now a human head was left on the street.
It was during the afternoon of Wednesday, May 29th, when armed men arrived at the corner of Timón Avenue with Vallarta Street in Puerto Morelos, firing shots in the air.
After firing shots in the air, the men threw an orange box on the public road, which contained the head of a man, in front of several people.
Agents of the State Police and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) arrived on site for the corresponding investigation process.
Authorities are at the scene of the events, gathering evidence to integrate them into the investigation file and facilitate their identification.
Likewise, they indicated that they work in a coordinated manner to identify those responsible for these events, which appear to be related to the drug cartels.
