On the morning of this Wednesday, June 19, Idelfonso Domínguez Cano, 101 years old, who was reported missing the day before, was found alive and well in the municipality of Tizimin.

The information collected indicates that, after yesterday’s report from his granddaughter América Maricruz that her grandfather had gone missing, shortly before noon, Don Ildefonso was located a kilometer and a half from the place where he was last seen; He was sitting on a rock and had a cut wound to his head and lacerations to his hands.

He was approached by a municipal police patrol and taken to the San Carlos de Tizimín hospital to treat his injuries, which according to doctors are not life-threatening.

About 20 residents of Dzonot Carretero participated in the search, as well as elements of the municipal and state police.
