This weekend don’t miss the White Night in Mérida!

This weekend the seventeenth edition of La Noche Blanca “Learning is the beauty of living” will take place in Merida.

On this occasion there will be some adjustments at the show venues, due to the work carried out by the State Government in the Historic Center.

In this way, the event will be held in 72 venues, such as 11 parks, 9 museums, 2 theaters, 18 alternative forums and 32 galleries, with 300 activities between both nights.

As part of the events, the Mauré Experience Aerial Theater will be presented, at 09:00 pm at the Paseo de Montejo Remate, as well as an alebrijes parade, drone show and observation with telescopes.

Also, this Saturday, May 25, the Colombian salsa group Grupo Niche will perform in the San Sebastián neighborhood at 11 p.m.

For the second time, and this time as part of La Noche Blanca, “Áurea Vol. II” arrives, an event that fuses music and digital art in the Parque de la Paz in which DJs will perform.

Gastronomy is another element of La Noche Blanca that will be present with around 80 gastronomic offerings.

Road operation during the White Night
On the occasion of the White Night this Saturday, May 25, the Municipal Police of Mérida will carry out an operation for surveillance and road traffic because several streets will be closed in the downtown area.

The closures will be carried out not only in the Central area, but also in the surrounding area, as well as in the areas of La Mejorada and San Sebastián, among others, so it is recommended that guides who have to cross these areas take other roads to not get stuck.

According to the authorities, from today until 7 in the morning on Sunday the 26th the Paseo de Montejo Auction will be closed.
