Mexico City made history this Thursday, May 9th, by reaching its highest temperature ever recorded.
At the national Tacubaya Observatory, home of the capital’s oldest climate records, the thermometer read an impressive 34.3 degrees Celsius, surpassing the mark set just last April.
The National Water Commission (Conagua) confirmed this unprecedented fact through its social networks, highlighting that this figure sets a new record for both the Tacubaya Observatory and for May 9 in Mexico City.
