Animals in Mexico City zoos are cooled with ice popsicles
Given the heat wave that Mexico City is suffering, staff from the Chapultepec and Aragón Zoos took on the task of making popsicles to cool down the animals.
The popsicles are made according to “elements that make up the diet of each specimen,” reported the CDMX Zoo account.
Users expressed concern about the animals, but staff assured that the desserts “contained fruits, vegetables and other foods that are safe and nutritous to them.”
