Due to the elections in Yucatán, cultural events will be suspended this Sunday, June 2 in Mérida

Due to the elections in Yucatán and the entire country, this June 2, the suspension of cultural activities in the city of Mérida was announced.

The weekly ‘Mérida en Domingo’ event in the Parque de Santa Ana and the Biciruta in Paseo de Montejo will be suspended during this day.

Municipal authorities reported that the suspension of cultural events is due to Elections Day in Yucatán.

It will be until next weekend when these activities will resume, in addition to the fact that there will be Bicitura on Saturday, as it is the first Saturday of June.

No cultural events will be held in Mérida this Sunday.

This is done to call on the people of Merida to go to the polls to cast their vote from 8:00 in the morning until 18:00 hours.

Subsequently, from Monday and the following weekends, cultural activities will continue as usual.
