Two vehicles were strangely abandoned on the Mérida-Tetiz highway after being involved in a traffic accident that occurred in the early hours of the morning.
Agents of the federal forces were aware of the accident that, according to data obtained, would have occurred between 5:30 and 6:30 in the morning this Saturday. An Attitude car and a Ford Fiesta were involved, which were abandoned on the side of the road.
Both were traveling along the federal highway in its direction from east to west, that is, heading towards Tetiz. At kilometer 3+150, before reaching the junction with 114th Street in Ciudad Caucel, the Attitude would have hit the Ford by range.
This caused both vehicles to go off the road and the second to somersault until it ended up in its normal position. Other motorists passing by the place would have notified the Police.
However, when the agents arrived there were no longer people at the site, only the abandoned vehicles, so it is unknown if there were any injuries or the exact causes of what is a traffic incident.
The federal authorities, with jurisdiction over that route, carried out the corresponding work and would be in charge of clarifying the situation.
