Investigative agents from the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), in collaboration with their counterparts from the State of Mexico, arrested on March 3 in Mérida two men accused of the murder of a man and a woman in that state.
The crime dates back to 2017. Israel and Miguel C. L., 40 and 34 years old, from México City and the State of Mexico, respectively, were arrested. They will be prosecuted for the death of Marco Antonio P. O. and María Guadalupe I. M.
The investigations of the Yucatecan and foreign agents, in coordination with the FGE, managed to establish the whereabouts of both men, who were vacationing in Mérida. Once the arrest warrants are executed, both subjects will be handed over to the authorities of the State of Mexico.
