During the presentation of the digital platform “Invest in Mérida”, Mayor Alejandro Ruz Castro highlighted that the sum of wills between the business chambers and the municipal government allows the carrying out of relevant projects for the economic development of Mérida, strengthening it as an investment hub at the national level. world.

“Invest In Mérida represents for national and international investors a more agile, efficient, and clear form of the business panorama in Mérida and Yucatán, complying with its industrial and economic development that translates into jobs, prosperity, growth, and well-being for Yucatecan families,” he mentioned.

This project adds to the work that the business chambers have been doing in promoting the strengths and competitive advantages that Mérida and Yucatán offer to those who wish to invest and do business here.

The Municipal President, accompanied by José Luis Martínez Semerena, director of Economic Development and Tourism, met with presidents and representatives of the different business chambers, led by the president of the Business Coordinating Council, Levy Abraham Macari, to whom he stressed that “Invest in Mérida” will showcase the wealth of our state in the area of industries, human talent, infrastructure, commercial agreements, statistical and technical information, among others.

He added that both Mérida and Yucatán have advanced with economic growth above the national average in the southeast of the country, hence the commitment to generate more opportunities for economic growth in Yucatán.

Ruz Castro said that the platform includes updated data on the local market, government regulations, tax incentives, and personalized advice, to help investors make informed and successful decisions when establishing themselves in the municipality and state.
