With flags, music, loudspeakers, and slogans of Huacho governor!, Geovanna Campos, a federal representative for the 4th district, was the first to arrive at the site.

Moments later, the candidate for the governorship of Yucatán, Joaquín Díaz Mena, arrived, accompanied by the candidate for the senatorial office Marcelo Luis Ebrard Casaubón.

Together they approached the drivers who stopped at the traffic light, sharing their proposals and handing out flyers.

Dozens of people approached the candidates to get a greeting and a photo with Marcelo.

For an hour the candidates walked between cars, whose drivers greeted them with their horns. Veteran Yucatecan politician José Carlos Ramírez Marín could also be seen at the site, representing the PVEM.

The event took place in order but inevitably at times the road traffic was blocked, but finally, the support of the state police in the northern sector cleared the traffic jam.
