Five arrested after drug raid in Mérida

On Friday, April 19, a police operation was carried out in the western area of the city of Mérida in search of prohibited substances.

The report indicates that the operation was carried out on three properties located on 100th Street between 59-L and 59-LL in the Bojórquez neighborhood of the Yucatecan capital.

The raid began at 3 in the morning this Friday and so far there are five people arrested, prohibited substances such as crystal meth, marijuana, and cocaine were seized by the authorities.

The mobilization was carried out by the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), with the support of the National Guard (GN), the Navy Secretariat (Semar), as well as agents of the Public Security Secretariat (SSP).
