Everything is ready for the Tourist Tianguis to be held in the port of Acapulco

Miguel Torruco Marqués explained that until April 4, the participation of 1,337 buyers from 787 companies has been confirmed.

The federal and Guerrero governments affirmed that they are prepared for the start of the most important tourist fair in Latin America in its 48th edition: the Tianguis Turístico México, which will take place from April 8 to 12 in the port of Acapulco, still recovering from the passage of Hurricane Otis.

The head of Sectur, Miguel Torruco Marqués, representing President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, explained that until April 4, the participation of 1,337 buyers from 787 companies has been confirmed, as well as the presence of 43 countries, including Mexico. He also highlighted the presence of 1,441 exhibitors from 852 companies and 32 states.

Torruco added that as part of the organization of the Mexico 2024 Tourist Tianguis, authorities from the three levels of government and representatives of the business sector held a work meeting where advances in security, as well as logistics and transportation, were presented.

In a meeting headed by the Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marqués, and the Secretary of Tourism of Guerrero, Santos Ramírez Cuevas, the coordinated work was carried out through prevention and established protocols.

Likewise, he said that the Organizing Committee of this tourist fair toured the facilities of Expo Mundo Imperial headquarters of the event, where they supervised the work of assembling the stands and pavilions of the exhibitors.

It is worth remembering that the program of the great tourist festival of our country will include 97 pavilions, of which 65 are corporate and 32 are from Mexican states, there will also be areas for business meetings, keynote conferences, workshops, panels, gastronomy exhibits, craft exhibitions, and much more.
