Ciudad del Carmen with potential for convention tourism

After the successful Industrial Port Forum, it is demonstrated that Carmen has the necessary elements to be a point of attraction for convention tourism, stated the president of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Foods Industry (Canirac), Gabriela Cruz Damas.

She explained that, during this convention, restaurateurs reflected an increase in their sales of up to 20%, both in consumption in establishments and for take-out. Gabriela Cruz meant that it is important that the organizers of these events not only focus on the participants but also the companions, providing activities for them, which in turn generate economic benefits.

He indicated that it is important that the three levels of Government join forces to promote Carmen as a convention destination, but that, in turn, businessmen generate attractive tourist products for visitors and their companions. We cannot deny that the main asset for attracting tourists to Carmen and Campeche is the generation of jobs.
