Campeche registers more than 4 thousand open investigations in the first quarter of 2024

For crimes such as house robbery, homicides, drug dealing, among others that threaten the life and integrity of people, as well as against society in general, more than 4 thousand files and investigations were initiated during the first three months of the year, in Campeche.

According to the Common Jurisdiction Criminal Incidence Index, prepared by the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP), from January 1 to March 31 of the current year, 4,678 investigation files were initiated for different crimes in the State.

This means that during the first 91 days of the year, on average 51.40 crimes were committed throughout the State to the detriment of Campechano families.

Regarding homicides the figure was 23 investigations of which 19 lost their lives due to the use of firearms, two died due to the use of knives, as well as two more killed by unspecified objects.
