The police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found in a state of decomposition in the mountains near the Cholul community.
The discovery occurred this Friday, March 5 in the afternoon when a man entered a low forest area on the road that connects the Mérida Periférico with Cholul.
The man would have entered that area to urinate and found the body already in a state of decomposition.
Preliminarily, it was reported that it was the body of a woman, however, this cannot be said with precision as it is in an advanced state of decay. The police received the report of this and police agents immediately arrived at the scene, secured the area and reported it to the investigative authority.
