For the feminicide of a woman identified by the local autorities as J. E. L. C., 48 years old. The murderer, Ernesto B. C., 66 years old, is a farmer by trade.
The crime occurred last on the night of Friday, April 26th. on a property in the Cuauhtémoc neighborhood of Kanasín.
Based on investigations and evidence obtained since they became aware of the facts, investigating agents from the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) in coordination with the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) supported the probable responsibility of the subject before a control judge.
The woman was a victim of rape, after which she was deprived of her life. An autopsy revealed that the cause was mechanical asphyxiation due to strangulation.
The accused was placed at the disposal of the judge who will determine the man’s legal status after the corresponding criminal proceedings.
