Women’s groups unite to reject the transgender agenda

(CDMX – TMM) – Different feminist groups in Mexico have joined together to reject the “trans” agenda in the country. They mention that women’s groups should not incorporate this particular agenda into their struggle.

The reasons why all these groups are taking this decision are:

• Promotes the objectification of women’s bodies.
• Reinforces sexist gender stereotypes.
• It degrades the concept of WOMAN to a person “with specific functionalities.”
• Erases structural differences between women and men.
• Violates childhood rights, denying the maternal figure.

The collectives are stating that women’s groups must unite against the erasure and violation of their rights.

“If they erase the word woman from the laws, we not only lose spaces in politics, but also in culture. There is no such thing as menstruating people, nor pregnant people, nor people with vulvas… WE ARE ALWAYS WOMEN.” – Mentioned the leader of the feminist group.

In the following weeks, new positions on the matter are expected.
