The Mérida municipal government offers free food for pets

The City Council of Mérida, Yucatán, is offering free food for dogs and cats to help those activists who are in charge of rescuing homeless pets.

According to the call launched by the City Council of Mérida, Yucatán, support for free food for dogs and cats will be granted to non-profit legal institutions, who will benefit twice a year and individuals in charge of shelters and shelters, who will receive a monthly help. Legal entities must apply for aid from March 1 to 22, while individuals must apply from May 6 to 17.

For legal entities:

• Constitutive Act of minimum 6 months

• Notarial document that allows proving the legal personality of the person signing

• Household receipt of electricity or water with a maximum of 6 months old

• Fill out the Ordinary Support Request Form

• Bring a document under oath telling the truth

For natural persons

• Original and copy of official identification with photograph

• Original and copy of proof of address (electricity, water, or property)

• Fill out the support request form.
