On the morning of Friday, March 15, an extensive police operation was carried out in the Vicente Guerrero neighborhood of this port.
The anti-narcotics operation was carried out by personnel from the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) inside a property on 39th Street between 114 and 116 of that Progreso neighborhood, where various illicit substances were found.
It was also revealed that three people, whose identity is still unknown, were surprised inside the property and were detained.
The area was cordoned off in coordination with elements of the Mexican Army, Navy, National Guard, and State Police. This is the second operation of this type so far in 2024, the first was carried out on January 12, in the same neighborhood, on 37th Street between 110 and 112; On that occasion, two people were arrested.
