On Friday, March 15th, the Aeroméxico Atlanta-Mérida flight started operations, which strengthens the international connection of Yucatán.

People who wish to experience this route can do so from Monday to Sunday, from Atlanta to Mérida, departing at 10:20 a.m. and arriving at 11:44 a.m., or vice versa, with takeoff in Mérida at 3:00 p.m. and landing at 7:46 p.m.

However, due to the season, in April it will be reduced to a frequency of 4 flights per week, a figure that will gradually increase and it will be in July that this service will be offered again every day of the week.

With the reactivation of this flight, as of March there are 8 international routes with direct connection to the International Airport of the City of Mérida, these being: Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Houston, Oakland (semi-direct), Havana, Guatemala and Toronto.

Aeroméxico is the national airline of Mexico founded in 1934, based at the Mexico City International Airport.

It has a fleet of 107 aircraft with 9 new orders, and is listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange.
