Man wanted for homicide in CDMX is arrested in Mérida

On Tuesday, March 19, David R. O., 47, was arrested in Mérida, wanted since April 2022 for a homicide committed in Mexico City. With the aliases of “Princesa”, “Lagartijo” and “Cadáver”, and originally from the state of Veracruz, the individual was fleeing from the capital authorities who accuse him of the death of a man who in life was called Edmundo C. R., whom he would have cut head and neck with a machete.

He was located and captured in Mérida by agents of the State Investigative Police (PEI) of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), in collaboration with their colleagues from México City.

The man will be transferred to México City to continue the criminal process for the crime of homicide.
