Lifeless body found in Mérida’s San Luis Sur Dzununcán neighborhood

The body was discovered by nearby residents who immediately called the State Police paratroopers. They arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation. the corresponding investigations.

According to the information collected, on 193rd Street between 94 and 96 of the aforementioned neighborhood, in the lots invaded by paratroopers, the lifeless body of a man was found, who apparently hanged himself in his house.

The discovery was made by some concerned neighbors who saw a man sitting at the entrance of his house. They noticed that he appeared to be purple in color, which worried them. They called out to him, but he did not respond. As they approached him, they realized that something was wrong, and upon closer inspection, they found that he was unresponsive.

Given this, they quickly notified their relatives and called the emergency number 9-1-1.

Police and paramedics from the SSP arrived at the scene, who unfortunately only confirmed the death, so the area was cordoned off pending the Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding investigations. Finally, the body was lifted by Semefo Forensics staff.
