Grouper Ban Festival this weekend in Progreso

Families will be able to enjoy a gastronomic, artisanal, and commercial pavilion in the port of Progreso, since this Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24, the Grouper Ban Festival will be held.

At the event, there is a sale of products, sand sculpture workshops for children, donations of native plants, and a giant cinema.

Also, visitors and locals will be able to enjoy the presentation of the Folkloric Ballet of the State of Yucatán “Alfredo Cortés Aguilar and Orquesta Jaranera del Mayab”, as well as trova nights at sea, Cultur cinema on the coast, among other experiences.

In addition to this, fishing families will be offering products and services such as crafts, dishes, and snacks made with species that are not closed and alternatives to grouper.

This Festival is about to end, and the last activities will take place on Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 31st.
