The Progreso City Council, through members of Prolimpia, continues to give talks to girls and boys with the aim of encouraging them to respect the environment and inviting them to adopt more sustainable habits.

Recently, the municipal agency addressed environmental issues in the “Juan Miguel Castro” preschool in Progreso and in the “Elba Griselda” park, as well as in the “Octavio Paz” kindergarten in the municipality of Kanasín. The children are learning about the different activities, through digital media, and talks are given on their respective campuses.

During the activities, children learn in a playful and entertaining way about the importance of nature, the conservation of natural resources, recycling, biodiversity, and they also come to understand what would happen if the planet is not properly taken care of.

For all of the above, municipal authorities invite parents and teachers to encourage children to adopt responsible sustainable practices that benefit the environment.

Prolimpia’s numbers are available in case a school wants to schedule an environmental talk. : 969 1003 64 94, 969 688 10 42 and by WhatsApp 9993 62 60 77, Monday to Friday, from 8 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon, and Saturdays from 8 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon.
